Indonesia executes 8 drug smugglers by firing squad

Australia has recalled its ambassador to Indonesia for consultations after two Australians were among eight drug smugglers executed by firing squad early Wednesday.

Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott called the executions "cruel and unnecessary" because both men, Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran, had been "fully rehabilitated" during a decade in prison.

Abbott didn't say what permanent actions, if any, would be taken against Indonesia. "This is a dark moment in the relationship, but I'm sure the relationship will be restored," he said.

One of the men's Indonesian lawyers, Todung Mulya Lubis tweeted his apologies. "I failed. I lost," he said. "I'm sorry." cnnews.com

Lady Gaga and her dog wear no pants and matching T-shirts as they go sightseeing in Berlin

They say that owners look like their dogs.

And while facially Lady Gaga and her French Bulldog Asia don't have that much in common, when it comes to their attire, they've got the matchy-matchy look down pat.

Stepping out in Berlin for a spot of sightseeing on Tuesday, both left their trousers at home, opting instead to protect their modesty in cute pink T-shirts.

Deciding that trousers really weren't a necessity, she made do with a pair of fishnet tights coupled with a pair of leg-lengthening pointed stilettos.

Currently in Germany for her artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball tour, she sported the same black curly wig that she was spotted wearing in Cologne on Monday. 

Ahead of her performance at Cologne's Lanxess Arena, the Born This Way singer looked like she was gearing up to do some cleaning when she emerged in a silk yellow slip dress.

The star was greeted by a sea of fans who gifted her with personalised presents, including a pillow with her face across it which she clung onto during the meet and greet.

She then caused a stir by calling into a local chemist dressed in her unique garb, only to be followed by her army of admirers. 

Although her epic world tour wraps up in Paris in late November, there'll be little down time for the singer who has just announced she and Tony Bennett will perform at The Cosmopolitan casino is Las Vegas for a special New Year's Eve show.

'I can't wait to kick off 2015 "cheek to cheek" with the legendary Mr. Tony Bennett,' Lady Gaga explained.

'New Year's celebrations are about cherishing family, friendship, and the future - three things this man has taught me much about.'

Gaga is relishing the success of her collaborative album Cheek To Cheek with jazz hero Tony.

'CHEEK TO CHEEK' is #1 on the WORLDWIDE iTunes album chart!,' she recently tweeted.

Earlier in the year the Bad Romance hitmaker opened up to Harper's Bazaar about how she stores all her colourful outfits.

'I keep everything in an enormous archive in Hollywood,' she revealed

Adding: 'The clothes are on mannequins, also on hangers and in boxes with a photo of each piece, and there's a website where I can go to look through everything.'

'It's too big- I could never sort through it myself! But these garments tell the stories of my life'

Stephanie Waring shows off incredible figure in sexy red triangle bikini during Spanish escape

Her year might have begun with a bumpy start after good pal Kym Marsh started dating her ex Dan Hooper.

But actress Stephanie Waring looked the picture of contentment during a family holiday at the luxurious Lindner Hotel in Mallorca, Spain late last month.

The stunning 36-year-old showed off her trim and toned figure in a sexy red triangle bikini with gold chain straps.

Following her dip in the refreshing waters the Hollyoaks starlet joined her daughters Mia and Lexi building castles in the sand with a cute Hello Killy bucket. 

The fun and games continued with Stephanie pulling out a pink Mini Mouse tennis racquet for a spot of afternoon sport.  

In June Stephanie became embroiled in a very public spat with former pal Kym Marsh, after she claimed Kym and ex Dan begun dating just six weeks after she had split from him.

'I had to endure finding out that the father of my child had moved onto someone else, someone I considered to be a friend, only six weeks after we had separated,' the 35-year-old said at the time. 

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday during the row, Stephanie said of the love triangle: 'She's carried on with him knowing what it's done to me. It is killing me.'

While a spokesperson for Kym told the MailOnline: ‘Kym is very upset that Stephanie feels the way she does and is disappointed she has chosen to sell her story to a newspaper rather than speak to her directly.'

However Stephanie finally ended the feud by tweeting: 'Kym didn’t steal Dan we had split... I think everyone should move on now.'

Since the scandal the star has embarked on a fresh chapter and remains upbeat.

Taking to Twitter recently she wrote: ‘I really do have the best girlfriends in the world!... And not forgetting my guy friends! Very lucky girl! X’

Before adding: ‘I love how the changes in season remind you of certain times… feeling nostalgic!'

Katherine Jenkins looks a little glum as she arrives home with husband Andrew Levitas following trip to Marrakech

They tied the knot last month following a whirlwind engagement - but the honeymoon was over for Katherine Jenkins, 34 and Andrew Levitas, 37,on Tuesday, when they arrived back home. 

The couple touched down at Gatwick airport following a luxurious one-week trip to Marrakech and they looked like they might just have a touch of the post-holiday blues. 

After touching down on British soil, the opera singer tweeted: 'The endless massages & ginger tea of the Royal Monsour now seem like a dream! Miss you Marrakech... We'll be back soon x'

Katherine looked effortlessly chic in an ankle-grazing navy jumpsuit which she wore with a cropped denim jacket. 

She wore her dark blonde locks up in a ponytail and was sporting a golden tan from her recent sunshine break. 

Making sure she was comfortable on her flight, Katherine chose a pair of silver strappy sandals and she accessorized with a Mulberry handbag and designer sunnies.

Her man proved he was a gentleman and carried their two heavy suitcases, making sure that Katherine didn't have to lift a finger. 

He kept a low profile in a hooded sweatshirt which he wore over a baseball cap, with shorts and trainers. 

After marrying Andrew, the mezzo-soprano posed for a sensational snap with her man in the grounds of the iconic venue, Hampton Court Palace.

Wearing a traditional white gown by Suzanne Neville, which swept the floor, the stunning lady looked happy and content in the fairytale number while her man wore a smart black suit and bow tie.

Katherine wore her hair up, with an elegant veil pinned to the top and polished off the look with a pair of simple pearl drop earrings.

According to The Mirror, the singer also got special permission from Buckingham Palace to fly the Welsh Dragon flag over the historic building.
